About Mac
Mac is a striking brown mackerel tabby with bold oyster markings along his sides, and he’s got a soft spot for belly rubs once he feels comfortable. He starts out shy, but don’t let that fool you—once he gets to know you, he’s loyal and will follow you around, sticking close by much of the day. Mac’s early days were rough—starved, sick and overshadowed by bigger cats at an old farm—but after plenty of care, he’s grown into a healthy, playful adult. He’s had veterinary testing, is negative for FeLv and FIV, and is up to date on rabies vaccinations. Mac will thrive as an indoor-only cat, preferably in a calm home as an only cat or with just one or two feline friends. He’s not hostile, but the stress of a crowded house makes him a little rough in his play. He’s much more relaxed one-on-one and settles in when given his own space. Mac always loves to perch at a window to watch birds and bugs, but he shouldn’t have outdoor access given his background as a stray. He’ll come with all his vet paperwork and a full record of his journey so far. Mac is looking for someone willing to give him attention and a more peaceful home life. If you are searching for a fun, goofy cat with a big heart, Mac may be the one you’ve been waiting for. Born July 29, he’s a Leo—a classic for a cat who likes to be the center of attention.
