About Ashton
Ashton is a true character—bighearted, big-bodied, and absolutely one-of-a-kind. At six years old, he’s got a lifetime of street smarts and resilience, having survived some harsh encounters and rough times. Now rescued, Ashton relishes indoor comforts and has no patience for nonsense. He’s quick to show when he needs space, but it’s never with aggression; he just knows his boundaries. His softer side comes out for booty scratches and head kisses (but careful with his belly—that’s an elaborate trap for the unwary). Ashton coexists peacefully with other cats at the rescue, but he wouldn’t mind ruling a kingdom of his own in a solo household. He’s carrying some extra weight from his easy lifestyle, so a home willing to help him shed a few pounds would suit him well. Volunteers are big fans of his dry wit and affectionate moments. Ashton’s ready for a home that will appreciate a genuine cat with a dash of attitude and a heart of gold. Adoption inquiries are warmly welcomed. Click apply to start the adoption process.
