About Benny
Meet Benny! Picked up by a kind traveling nurse after being abandoned on a rural Kentucky road, Benny’s story started out rough, but he’s made the most of a second chance. Raised on a farm alongside his brother, Benny has grown into a sturdy, happy puppy with a silly, rambunctious energy that doesn’t cross the line. After playtime, he quickly turns into a softie, eager for belly rubs and affection. According to DNA, Benny’s a mix of Husky, Lab, German Shepherd, and Pit Bull, making him a versatile family dog. He’s comfortable in a crate, walks politely on leash, and sits on command, all with minimal training. Outings to places like Tractor Supply and Lowes have shown him to be confident and curious. Even novice handlers will have an easy time with him—he’s eager to please and quick to learn. Benny isn’t housetrained yet simply because he hasn’t lived indoors, but he’s sharp, attentive, and motivated to learn. He’s done well around barn cats and with proper introductions, should do fine with feline friends. Benny has been fully vetted, is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines and preventatives. He’ll even go home with a crate for smoother adjustment. This cheerful, good-looking pup thrives with a yard, kids, or canine playmates—he just needs someone to give him his start.
