Lady Bug
AvailableLady Bug is a young, medium-sized mixed breed with a glossy black coat. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and currently in Portland, OR. At about 1 year and 5 months old, Lady Bug is still learning about the world. She does not get along with children or small animals, so she’ll need an adult-only home. Lady Bug offers a spirited energy and plenty of quirks to share with a patient adopter.
About Lady Bug
Lady Bug is about 2 years old and has been waiting for her own home since May 2025. She's a quirky, medium-sized mystery mix who has charmed the staff at Oregon Dog Rescue with her oddball habits. You'll often find her curled up like a tiny donut on impossibly small chairs or rolling with joy across grass and sand—she can't resist getting a little messy. Toys are serious business for Lady Bug, especially stuffies and ropes, and when the mood strikes she blasts off in wild zoomies. Be warned: she thinks cats and small animals are chew toys, so she’s looking for a cat-free home. Chewing is a favorite hobby, which might finally make tooth brushing easy. Though goofy beneath it all, Lady Bug feels anxious as she learns to navigate the shelter world. Meeting new people is intimidating and she may bark, but with patience and plenty of treats, she will warm up and show her true, loving side. She’s best suited for adults ready to support a nervous dog as she settles in. Fun fact: Lady Bug is a Capricorn, a sign known for loyalty and perseverance. Ready to fall in love?
