This sweet, tricolor pup is always ready for kisses, cuddles, and snuggles, and is brimming with love for anyone who wants to be part of his world. At just about 4 weeks old as of January 6, 2026, Socrates is growing quickly and will soon be ready to travel to his new home after completing all necessary vetting. As a Schnauzer mixed breed puppy, he’s already showing signs of intelligence and playfulness. With time, patience, and gentle training, he’ll easily pick up crate and leash skills—and will be eager to learn! Socrates is currently located in Puerto Rico and will be transported to New York or New Jersey once an approved adopter is found. The rescue always aims to match their pups with the best possible home, so please be sure to consider if you can provide the exercise and daily care a puppy needs to thrive. Keep in mind, while Socrates is working toward being house trained, any pup will need compassion and consistency in a new environment.
