About Macchiato
Macchiato is a 2-year-old pit bull terrier with a big, playful personality and a gentle touch. He thrives in a lively home, especially around children, and his calm, steady presence stands out even when things get noisy. Macchiato loves to stick by his foster mom’s side, helping with chores or following for a bit of company (yes, even to the bathroom). He’s a devoted buddy for nap time and a champ at cuddling. Though energetic and always up for a game of fetch, he relaxes right into quiet family time—especially if story time is involved. At 57 pounds, Macchiato is strong and athletic but surprisingly polite. He’s fully house-trained, sleeps well through the night, and doesn’t bark unless provoked by something truly sinister (like the vacuum cleaner). While his manners around food and people are excellent, he’s still learning not to pull on leash—there’s just so much to see, and he’s eager to greet everyone. Ongoing work on basic commands is shaping up nicely, and he very rarely jumps up on people. He does well with children and has not yet been tested with other dogs or cats. Mealtimes are laid-back, and he eats at a good pace, leaving human food alone except for the occasional drool of admiration. Macchiato checks all the boxes for a loyal, loving family companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
