About Ellie
Once upon a time in a kingdom of plush couches and squeaky toys, Ellie reigns as queen of comfort. She’s every bit the house hippo—low to the ground, high on attitude, and an undisputed expert at defending her domain from suspicious strangers (and honestly, any surprise guests). At just over eight years old, Ellie is a large American Bully with a hefty dose of personality to match her weight. She’s famous for dramatic food dances (ask to see her pirouette for chicken-kibble) and proud of her solo ball games. Ellie thrives in a calm home with one or two adults, or a family with older, dog-savvy kids. She gets along with certain dogs, but introductions are a must before sharing her realm. Her stance on cats, though, is hard no. She’s crate- and house-trained, pretty much content lounging or cuddling while you work, nap, or tackle another Netflix series. Walks are cherished as long as her favorite people are at her side. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who worships snacks, commands the couch, and prefers stability over chaos, Ellie’s waiting for the right humans to make her feel safe and celebrated. It’s worth noting: Ellie is a solid Taurus—so expect her to be strong-willed but deeply loyal once you’re in her circle. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
