About Ellie

Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Once upon a time, in a land of squeaky balls and soft blankets, there lived a noble low-rider named Ellie. With the stature of a house hippo and the heart of a seasoned couch commander, she rules her domain with sass, snuggles, and a strict no-stranger policy. At seven years old and 75 pounds of pure personality, Ellie has mastered the art of lounging. Her days are spent on the royal cushions, galloping like a bunny when the sacred kibble arrives, and engaging in solo jousts with her beloved ball. She is renowned for her dramatic food dances and has even been rumored to have performed a full pirouette for a scoop of chicken-flavored kibble. Ellie is not a fan of visitors in her kingdom. Should strangers breach the castle, she must be secured in her crate tower as one never knows if they might be a dragon in disguise. Her ideal home is quiet, predictable, and ruled by one or two wise humans—with older children who understand the ways of cautious ladies. Young squires in training aren’t for this regal lady. She’d prefer her people close, her cats far away, and canine friends carefully chosen through diplomatic sniffing. Set in her ways yet deeply loyal, Ellie walks nicely on leash, naps like a pro, and will binge-watch your favorite series while offering commentary in gentle snores. She’s crate-trained, house-trained, and emotionally convinced that food is life, balls are joy, and strangers should always be kept at bay. If you seek a steadfast friend with a royal sense of humor, a deep love of snacks, and a heart that blooms slowly but beautifully—Ellie awaits your summons. She does best with select dog friends, no cats, and older kids who appreciate her need for calm and routine. Cuddle sessions and evening walks are included. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
