He learned to fend for himself for a while, but you wouldn’t know it—he’s adapted quickly to home life and is picking up all the important basics. He already has sit and down mastered, walks nicely on a leash, and never says no to a good toy session. Duke is an athletic guy, so a 6-foot, secure fence is needed, since he can clear obstacles when curiosity strikes. Duke gets along well with other dogs and thrives with a playful canine companion by his side. He’s crate trained and continues working on his manners.
