About Scooby
Think you are the one? Submit an application! Scooby has overcome a challenging start to life after being abandoned as a puppy by a hoarder. Now safe in foster care, he's blossoming into a sweet, affectionate, and loyal companion. This certified snuggle bug loves cuddling up with his humans and equally enjoys playful zoomies or simply lounging around. While he has medium energy and willingness to engage, he's a bit nervous around new people as he adjusts to the world, but he's learning more about love each day. Scooby is selective with his canine friends, thriving with slow introductions and trusted companions, but he is not cat-friendly. He's happy to be around older kids and shines in quiet, private moments with his people. Scooby knows basic commands like sit, shake, and come, has fantastic recall, and is both house-trained and crate-trained. Although he's still working on his leash manners, especially around other dogs, he displays remarkable progress and is eager to please. The ideal home for Scooby is a calm, patient household that understands his need for time to develop trust and confidence. He is searching for his “Shaggy”—someone who will never leave his side and show him that he's finally found a safe, loving forever home. Fun fact: With a birthday on October 28, Scooby is a Scorpio—known for their loyalty and depth of emotion! Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
