About Dash
Dash and his brother Kit lost their original home not due to neglect, but because their person suffered a string of hardships that made it impossible to care for them any longer. Their previous adopter continues to check in often—it's clear these boys were cherished from the start. Now at LapCats in Sacramento, Dash is ready to open a new chapter. He’s a confident, social, and affectionate tuxedo cat who will gladly supervise your day while angling for attention. Dash has the energy of a boss but the heart of a companion—he likes to be involved and truly enjoys being at the center of things. His brother Kit is gentler and slower to warm up but bonds deeply when given time and patience. Their ideal adopter will let Kit take it slow, while appreciating Dash’s outgoing spirit. Dash and Kit are best as a pair—they balance each other well, and Dash especially helps Kit feel secure. Both are up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, house trained, and negative for FELV. They have been thoroughly socialized and are comfortable with cats, dogs, and children. These two don’t need out of state travel; they just need the right home willing to keep brothers together. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
