About Meadow
Sweet as can be, gentle at heart, and delightfully low-key. This obedient, eager-to-please cuddle bug has mastered the art of being a world-class couch potato and believes the best adventures happen right beside you. Meadow is a 4 year old, gentle, sweet natured dog. She’s slow, and low energy. She’s looking for a life partner to lounge around with. She’s not interested in long walks or adventures. She likes to go outside, do her business, and come back in for snacks and snuggles. Meadow will perk up for playtime in short bursts - She often wakes up in the morning a little “frisky”, but after about one throw of the ball and a handful of “scritches”, she’s ready for breakfast and a nap. Meadow befriends ALL that she meets, and also holds her favorite people extremely close to her. You will feel SO special when you see how excited Meadow is to see you after work or even just in the morning when she wakes up. Meadow is a gentle being, and has calmly and patiently been around our foster's 2 yr old and 7 yr old niece and nephew. Meadow has been an amazing mom to her babies for 8 weeks, but she is ready to start the rest of her life! She was dumped, shot by a bullet, and living on the street. After getting trapped by Jack Jack’s Pack, she gave birth to her litter less than 18 hours later! Poor, sweet baby knew her babies needed a safe start to life. After a couple litters, it’s time for Meadow to retire from Motherhood and find the relaxing, comfortable forever home she so greatly deserves. If you’ve been looking for an easy-going, mellow, grateful, companion… Meadow is truly the perfect dog. Behavior around other dogs: Meadow has not been able to get vaccinations while nursing. Because of this, the foster has not been able to introduce their household dogs to her. Yet despite the other dogs being VERY barky, she doesn’t seem to even notice or bat an eye. We know she lived amongst other dogs on the street. Meadow would also be perfectly comfortable being an only-dog, and does not need fur-siblings To schedule a meet and greet, please send an inquiry and fill out an adoption application, which can be easily found at www.jackjackspack.org/adopt Once your application has been approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a phone interview and a meet-and-greet. This process can take up to 10 days as we are volunteer run. Please keep in mind that we select the best-qualified applicants based on the needs of both the dog and the applicant.
