City (DOB 11/14/23) was discovered in a rural community. A nearby animal lover heard frantic cries in the bushes outside his home. Our rescue team ventured out to lure a couple of kittens, but when the wet food can cracked opened, a handful of kittens ventured out of those bushes for food and were saved. It wasn’t until a couple of days later that our rescue team was able to capture the mamma as well. City is friendly but would do well in a quiet home. 📌Video in comments. While in foster, it was determined that she does not like dogs. She has done fine with other cats since her stay began at the shelter. She enjoys a good brushing. City does not like her paws being touched. This may be due to her rough time in life before being rescued. She is not declawed; however, she is missing most of her back claws. Presumably a birth defect or possible frost bite. City survived the elements. It is time to give her a fresh start in life. Who’s coming to the rescue?
