PEPPER is a blue-eyed husky/hound/? mix who was an owner surrender to the shelter with her sister. Sadly, her sister didn't make it out, but Pepper was lucky to be adopted by a fabulous family. Its turning out that she's not the best match for their pup and we'd like to find another family for her. Pepper is 3 yrs. and about 50lbs. She's housetrained (does like to counter surf), loves to play fetch and cuddle on the couch. She has good recall for their runs on the beach and has bonded strongly with the humans in her family. She hasn't been playful with her current canine brother and may prefer to be an only dog. She was raised from puppy-hood with her sister by the original owners that surrendered them to the shelter (due to "moving") but doesn't seem open to a close relationship with another pup at this time.
