About Lightning
Lightning is a striking, one-year-old cat whose personality comes through before he ever says a word. Rescued last October after life without a home, heās now looking for people who can match his spark. Everything about him is livelyāhis sleek, handsome frame, his sharp, expressive face, and that elongated nose you wonāt soon forget. Lightning adores attention, and if you stop petting too soon, expect a playful reminder (just sass, not claws). This cat has confidence to spare and isnāt afraid to run the show. The same kitty who once hissed in fear has learned to love as hard as he playsāthese days, he wants nothing more than affection and to stick close to his person. If youāre after a shadow who follows you room to room, this is your guy. Heās got a funny side, too, and will keep you entertained. Lightning still gets nervous about carriers (past trauma), but does fine once inside and is happy settling in a large dog crate when unsupervised. He does well with other sociable cats and enjoys feline company. While he hasnāt met dogs, heās open to careful introductions. Heās lived with children and friendly adult cats, fitting in just fine.
