This plucky little guy will get you with his puppy dog eyes. We believe he is a mix of mini Schnauzer and Westie. At about 9 months old, he weighs 15 pounds and should max out at 20 pounds. Mendy needs surgery to fix a congenital condition (Legg-Calves-Perthes Disease) causing pain in his rear leg and making it difficult for him to walk. He may never have a perfect gait, but the surgery should eliminate any pain. We are hoping to do his surgery in the next week. Mendy loves all humans and doesn't believe in personal space, however he does not seem to be fond of other dogs. Hopefully as he settles into his foster home and begins training, he will begin to accept other animals. Mendy is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm testing.
