About Raksha
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Raksha is searching for a cat-savvy person to call her own, which is why her adoption fee has been reduced to $100 to help her find a forever family faster. Raksha is a beautiful, shy, and not-so-easy-to-catch short-haired calico born in 2023. While she may be timid at first, once she's caught, she loves to be petted and enjoys a good belly rub. She thrives on individual, consistent attention and would benefit most from a home with fewer animals. Playtime is one of her favorite things—she absolutely delights in chasing the cat wand, exploring cat trees, playing with ping-pong balls, coils, crinkle toys, and all sorts of small animal toys and soft balls. Birdwatching and sunbathing from high perches are among her simple pleasures. Though Raksha is initially shy and a bit elusive, she’s affectionate when she warms up and can be handled and loved by those patient enough to gain her trust. She is playful with other cats and gets along with cat-friendly dogs as well. A calm home with a loving and patient family will help her blossom even further. As an affectionate Taurus, she’s sure to bring both beauty and a loyal, gentle nature to your home. Start your journey together! Apply now.
