I'm an excellent hiking companion in the great outdoors and love to traverse the majestic woodlands with my paw-son. I'm an expert at fetch, too, but I'm just as good at cuddling up with you by the campfire like your snuggliest pair of lederhosen. :) I'm potty-trained, kennel-trained, and great on my leash. I'm a star at basic obedience, and know a handful of commands too! I'm great with other polite dogs, big and small - no sauerkrauts please! I'm also phenomenal with kiddos 10ish and up (little bitties are a bit too rambunctious for my regal nature). My fur-ever future will be with an active person in a stable era of life, who enjoys adventure and will love me as deeply as I love them. My housing situation can be flexible: a house-setting with a fenced-yard, OR a spacious apartment-setting with lots of trails and walks (no invisible fences, please). NOTE: Because I'm a German Shepherd, loyalty is in my DNA! I will need a family that will commit to maintaining my social skills throughout my life, like any true Shepherd breed.
