Don’t let this precious face fool you–Aveline has a warrant out for her arrest. For those who may not know, Churu is a liquid cat treat in which Aveline has a grave addiction. She was recently caught breaking into the Churu bin, pushing it off the shelf and scattering packets across the floor. Luckily for us (and to Aveline’s dismay) her lack of opposable thumbs slowed her down from eating the entire stash out of her own volition. Aveline’s striking brown tabby coat, patterned with bold black swirls, highlights her most powerful manipulation tactic in securing more contraband—those stunning blue eyes that make you fall in love the moment you meet her. Aside from fighting her food-motivated demons, Aveline is the purr-fect companion. She is wonderfully playful with a healthy dose of snuggle bug. Whether pouncing on toys or stalking her siblings' tails, she is an expert little hunter. She enjoys her independence, yet lights up with loud, happy purrs whenever her humans are nearby. At the end of the day, she will curl up on your lap soaking in pets and chin scratches. Born around September 6, 2025, Aveline is currently fostered in Southington with her siblings Fenn and Nutmeg. She has not been tested with children or dogs yet, but her kind nature suggests she would do fine in a home with either–or both– as long as she has some quiet space to settle in while she adjusts. She will be available for adoption once she is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV (likely sometime in December). All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.
