About Rhea Purrmanent Resident
Click apply to start the adoption process. Rhea arrived at the end of January 2024, in the early stages of pregnancy and burdened by a heavy load of intestinal parasites. Malnourished, scared, and heartbreakingly small, she showed clear signs of a challenging life. Initially, Rhea was too timid and unsure to consider for adoption. She kept to herself, quiet and nearly invisible, just focused on surviving without drawing attention. Things grew even more difficult after her best friend Peridot was adopted. Rhea regressed emotionally until she met Nella—a calming new companion who helped her blossom. Now, Rhea and Nella are deeply bonded, always together and providing comfort to one another. It's clear that Rhea needs a feline friend, and ideally, she would be adopted with Nella through the rescue’s Bonded Buddy Program. Estimated as born in early 2021, and named after Rhea Perlman, she has a gentle yet reserved personality. With time and patience, Rhea has become more comfortable in calm, low-activity settings. She remains shy but is wonderfully gentle and surprisingly easy to handle with trusted people. She is now an incredibly sweet presence, revealing her affectionate side once she feels safe. Rhea isn’t likely to be the cat that runs to greet you, but for someone who understands quiet love and appreciates gentle trust, there’s so much she can offer. A patient, understanding adopter who can give her a calm home and a feline companion will unlock the best in this special girl. Fun fact: Rhea is a Pisces—Pisces cats are often intuitive and sensitive, just like her. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
