Arthur came from an OC shelter. He was going to be put to sleep because the shelter vet diagnosed him with an auto immune disease of the gums called stomatitis. Common treatment is full teeth extraction which is very painful and expensive. AINRN rescued him just in time and sent him to our vet for exam and treatment. Upon examination, our vet diagnosed him with calici virus which causes sores/ulcers in the mouth and is very easily treatable with medication. Arthur recovered quickly and is doing great in his foster home. He obviously had belonged to somebody who had abandoned him, and that is why he ended up at the shelter. He is very loving and laid back. He enjoys sleeping on the bed and chilling with his foster parents. It takes him a just a little time to warm up to new people, but when he does, he is extremely friendly and social. He purrs while he’s being pet and loves it when you scratch his face. Arthur would do well in a home as a single pet or with a cat that is around the same age. We don’t know if he gets along with dogs or young children. He is a very very lucky cat to have been given a second chance at life. Please consider giving Arthur the loving forever home that he’s so deserves. All his medical has been done: Neutered, chipped, vaccinated, negative for leukemia, and FIV, treated for fleas and worms. Arthur's DOB is 1/31/20. Adoption fee $250
