About Mona
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet Mona, a resilient and loving 3-year-old pit bull mix who has overcome so much. Mona was left behind, pregnant and alone, before rescuers brought her to safety where she could raise her puppies in peace. At first, Mona was terrified of people, but with patience and kindness, she blossomed into a loyal, goofy, and affectionate companion who quickly became attached to her foster mom. When Mona transitioned to the shelter after her puppies were weaned, she was frightened by new surroundings and people once again. Through gentle patience and slow introduction, she regained her trust and now shares her love and playful spirit with staff and volunteers. Mona is fiercely loyal to those she lets into her heart—her devotion knows no bounds, and the bond she offers is truly special. Mona is looking for a quiet and calm home with patient adopters—her ideal match will foster her first, with training and support provided to ensure a smooth transition. While Mona may be a bit bossy with other dogs, she enjoys playtime once comfortable, and her adorable zoomies and “smile” are sure to win you over. If you are seeking a loyal friend ready for a new chapter, Mona is waiting to steal your heart. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
