Minka is a large American Staffordshire Terrier mix, around 5 years old, who came to the rescue after her owners moved away and left her behind. She spent a year in a shelter before arriving at Stealing Hearts Rescue and is finally getting the attention she deserves. Minka stands out with her striking gray-and-white coat and her serious face that hides a goofy, affectionate side. She’s a playful soul—nothing makes her happier than splashing around in a kiddie pool. She gets along well with other dogs at the shelter, and she appears to be housebroken, keeping her kennel clean. People are her weakness: she greets everyone with joy and has nice manners, although she can pull on the leash before settling into a walk.
