About Darcy
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Darcy is a vibrant Australian cattle dog/Kelpie mix with a heart as big as her personality! At just 2 years old and coming in at around 40 lbs, Darcy was found as a stray, bravely weathering the heat and about to become a mom. Rescued just in time, she brought six beautiful puppies into the world and was a devoted, nurturing mother. Now that her puppies are grown, Darcy is ready for her own loving forever home. People of all ages are absolutely adored by Darcy—even kids! She thrives on human attention and is always ready to return the love. Darcy enjoys romping with other dogs, though her leadership streak makes her a bit of a boss during playtime. A fan of water, she can't resist splashing in a baby pool and is happiest when she gets to join in outdoor fun. Walks and hikes are right up her alley with her athletic, active spirit. Darcy does great on a leash, though she gets excited when spotting cats, birds, or anything that scurries by. She keeps her kennel spotless, suggesting she's housebroken, and is known for her intelligence and joyful energy. If you're searching for a playful, affectionate, and lively companion, Darcy could be your perfect match. This could be the start of something paw-some.
