About Dallas

Dallas came in as a rescued mom, found alongside her three kittens near a volunteer’s home. Initially, she was going to return outdoors after her spay surgery, but during recovery it became clear she could thrive indoors. With steady patience and gentle effort, Dallas has come a long way—she is learning to trust, enjoys curling up by the window, and will likely become an excellent lap cat with the right adopter. She gets along well with other cats but remains very scared of dogs, and small children make her nervous. Older, respectful children and a low-key environment are a better fit. Dallas is spayed, up to date on vaccines, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. Her birthday is September 27, 2022, making her a Libra—the sign of companionship and balance. Dallas is currently being fostered in Staten Island, NY; meetings are by appointment and a home visit is required to adopt. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
