About Laurence

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Did you ever go through an awkward stage? Would you appreciate an awkward kitty? Because Laurence might be your perfect match! Laurence is a solidly large house panther who loves people. He enjoys sitting near you, purring at an absurd volume the moment you pet him, and sometimes zones out as if he's buffering. He is playful and enthusiastic, with a particular fondness for wand toys—occasionally stealing one to dash down the stairs and keep the game going on his own. This friendly and social boy is great with humans but endearingly awkward with other cats. He tries to play, doesn't always grasp boundaries, gets gently rejected, and then simply loaf-sits nearby, taking it all in stride. It's just part of his quirky, lovable personality. Laurence has overcome a lot—he recovered from an extensive leg wound and later underwent full-mouth extractions for dental health. He requires a couple of daily medications, but makes it easy by taking pills from your hand in a pill pocket or accepting liquid meds in his food without complaint. One of his most charming gestures is sitting sphynx-style on the floor and making heartfelt eye contact, hoping for an invitation to hop up on the couch and keep you company. If you have a soft spot for delightful weirdos, you'll gain a companion who delivers laughs, thunderous purrs, silly faces, and truly loving gazes. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
