About Smooch
Smooch has the spirit of a cat, but he’s still figuring out the rules of actually being one. He studies the other cats, wanting to join their games, but hasn’t quite cracked the code—they play Connect Four, and he’s got Monopoly on the brain. To get your attention, he’ll wedge himself around your legs or interrupt a head bump with a sudden smack. It’s quirky and sometimes a bit confusing, but there’s no question he craves connection. Smooch needs someone who really understands cats and is patient enough to help him navigate social feline life. He’s a large guy, so he’s not a match for homes with small kids, but older, cat-savvy children may be fine. He does not get along with dogs but is open to the company of other cats. His charming face is nearly impossible to resist. Smooch is about five years old, neutered, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV negative, litter trained, and microchipped. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
