About Whiskey
Whiskey came from a severe neglect case, arriving overwhelmed and cautious of people, crouching in his kennel and shying away from touch. For a while, the smallest sounds or movements would send her into hiding, unsure if she could trust anyone again. The first big milestone was just coaxing Whiskey outside. Progress came in tiny steps at first—a quick outing, a fast return, but hope grew with every small victory. Eventually, Whiskey crawled into a staff member’s lap, tail tentatively wagging, quietly asking for love. From there, she found her courage: greeting staff at the kennel, enjoying walks, sometimes even letting loose with the zoomies. Whiskey now takes treats softly, soaks up affection, and shows off a gentle, loving nature. She’s neutered, vaccinated, and open to sharing a home with other dogs or cats. If you offer patience and kindness, Whiskey will return your effort with deep loyalty and gratitude. Give Whiskey the home she’s been waiting for. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
