About Bella
Start your journey together! Apply now. Meet Bella, a small Jack Russell Terrier mix with a brown and white coat who is about 4 years old. Bella has endured some tough times with people in her past, so she tends to be shy and a bit cautious around strangers, especially men. She needs a patient family willing to earn her trust and invest time in her training, as she currently struggles with resource guarding and is still working on potty training and leash walking. Bella's affectionate side shines when she is ready for cuddles—she loves to burrow under the covers but prefers not to be disturbed once she's settled in. She absolutely adores squeaky toys but isn’t a fan of water or pesky flies. In her foster home, she's shown mixed interactions with other dogs: she gets along with a male pitbull and sometimes picks on a female corgi. Her behavior with cats and young children hasn’t been tested yet, though her foster family thinks she sometimes acts like a cat. If you are ready for a little dynamo who needs understanding and consistent training, Bella could be the companion for you. Fun fact: Since Bella was born on September 14, she’s a Virgo! Virgos are known for their sweet loyalty and their knack for finding comfort in routines. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
