About Chili
Chili survived a difficult start, having arrived alongside T-Boz from the St Croix dump after both suffered gunshot wounds. Her trust in people is still fragile and she remains wary—being touched or approached isn’t easy for her yet. While T-Boz has started to come out of her shell, Chili needs more time and patience to feel safe. Volunteers work with her daily, and it’s clear that, as her fear slowly fades, she starts to show small but encouraging signs of relaxation. Chili needs a calm, understanding adopter who won’t rush her, and who’s willing to support her as she builds confidence and learns the world isn’t so scary. With enough patience and care, she’s likely to transform and grow into a wonderful companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Chili
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Chili, as a mixed breed dog, is adaptable and would do best in a calm, stable home where she can feel safe and secure. A quieter household would help her build trust at her own pace.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Chili, being a medium-sized mixed breed dog, will benefit from regular walks and a yard if available, but she can also thrive with daily outings and indoor enrichment.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Mixed breed dogs like Chili can be great with children, but given her timid nature and history, a home with older, gentle children would be best.
