Meet Turk! 🐾 Turk is a compact cutie with a big heart who’s searching for his very own furever family. He absolutely loves being close to his people and will happily act as your little shadow, following you from room to room just to be near you. Turk has excellent house manners and is fully house-trained—no accidents here! He does great going outside on a leash and takes care of his bathroom business right away once he’s out. While Turk prefers being with his humans, he is accustomed to being crated when his foster is at work for several hours. True to his people-pleasing nature, he goes into his crate willingly when asked. He isn’t a barker, but he may let out the cutest little whimpers or groans when he’s ready to come back out and rejoin the fun. One of Turk’s most endearing traits? His gentle nature. He takes treats so delicately that we had to double-check to make sure he even had teeth! Turk has shown no negative reactions toward the many dogs he’s seen on leash or through fences. We are currently working on formally testing him with other dogs off leash to better understand his play style. For now, when he spots the large female dog he shares a fence line with, he gets adorably wiggly and offers enthusiastic play bows, clearly hoping to start a game of chase along the fence.
