After spending nearly a year living outside on his own, he is soaking up the comfort and companionship of being with people again — and he couldn’t be sweeter. Chompers is easygoing and adaptable. He enjoys cuddling with both humans and dogs and is happiest when he’s near his people. While he has a calm demeanor, he will happily play if another dog invites him or if you toss a ball. He loves going along wherever you go and makes a wonderful companion. He gets along well with dogs, children, and cats, making him a great fit for many types of households. Chompers is also very food motivated, which makes bonding and continued training a breeze. Chompers is looking for a loving home where he can finally feel safe, cherished, and included as part of a family.
