Sabrina is a medium-sized black Domestic Short Hair cat described as an adult female. She is spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. House trained and currently located at the Rescued Treasures Cat Cafe by PALnv, Sabrina currently requires monitoring due to her ongoing status as a carrier of Tritrichomonas, though she is otherwise affectionate and amenable to ongoing probiotic care if needed.

About Sabrina

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Sabrina arrived at the rescue when she was just a five-month-old kitten, very shy and semi-feral—petting her was a near impossible task. Over time, it was discovered that Sabrina was struggling with some digestive issues, eventually diagnosed as giardia and the more uncommon Tritrichomonas parasite. Thanks to diligent care, the giardia was treated, but Sabrina likely remains a lifelong carrier of Tritrichomonas. While she's responded well to metronidazole, the parasite is persistent and not fully eradicated. During her medical treatment, Sabrina blossomed. She's become noticeably friendlier and loves enjoying churus straight from your hand. She thrives on gentle, patient interaction and needs a calm, stress-free home where monitoring her well-being and utilizing probiotics as needed will help her remain comfortable. Major changes or stress could trigger flare-ups, but there is a good chance that she could go symptom-free for long stretches. Sabrina is affectionate with people she trusts and would be a wonderful companion in a quiet household. If you can offer her a home that understands and accommodates her unique needs, Sabrina will fill your days with love and gentle company. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
