Well hello there! My name is Sweet Pea (because I'm so sweet!). I am a 2-year-old, 38-pound, hound mix gal. My bestie, Wally and I were left behind when our previous owners were evicted. Lucky for us, Rescue One took us in and is going to help us find the perfect forever family. I am a such a good girl! -- house trained, crate trained, and a pro on a leash. I get along great with other dogs and with calm older kiddos. I'm a little shy, so high energy kids might scare me. I haven't met any cats yet, but I'm betting dog-savvy cats would be fine with me. I can be cat tested if needed. My ideal home has a privacy-fenced yard for me to run free and play in. I need another dog buddy to hang out with. It would be AWESOME if Wally could be part of my forever family too, since we have been together our whole lives and feel so comfortable together. However, I am sure I can learn to live without him if a family can't take us both and has another dog to be my friend.
