Charlie
AvailableCharlie is a young, large Siberian Husky who is neutered and has received all core vaccinations. He is currently located in Hutto, TX. He has special needs, but remains a loving companion ready for a caring home.
About Charlie
Charlie is a young adult Siberian Husky with a compelling story of resilience. He arrived emaciated, just skin and bones, but carried a spirit determined to pull through. Charlie’s medical journey has been extensive: he was treated for heartworm and received surgery on both knees to repair torn ligaments. These procedures mean Charlie will always need glucosamine and will likely need pain management sooner than some other dogs. Despite his rough start, Charlie has never lost his friendly streak. He stays upbeat and happy around people, although he's wary of medical staff and needs a muzzle during vet visits. For other dogs, Charlie’s energy can be overwhelming, so he does best as the only dog in the home. He should do well with children, but he isn’t safe with cats or small mammals. Charlie comes neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm-free. He’s set for a fresh start in Hutto, TX, and looking for a home ready to support his special needs.
