Gentle, quiet, and a little shy—that’s me Callie. I was born on 01/01/2022, and I’m a very sweet girl who prefers a calm, peaceful home where I can feel safe and take things at my own pace. I’m independent by nature and enjoy affection on my own terms, especially soft pets once I’m comfortable. I also had a tail amputation, but it doesn’t slow me down—I’m perfectly happy curling up for naps and enjoying a relaxed life. I don’t like being picked up or held, but when trust is built, I may choose your lap as a cozy place to snooze. I’m not very playful and would much rather relax nearby, simply enjoying the comfort of having my person close. I’ve had some difficult experiences with other cats in the past. I was submissive and often bullied, which has made me uneasy around other cats. Because of that, I’d likely be happiest as an only cat, though I might do okay with one very calm, respectful feline friend.
