About Oreo Sweet And

Start your journey together! Apply now. Little Oreo is as adorable as can be! He survived a difficult start, coming from a severe neglect situation before spending months in isolation at a crowded county shelter. Recently rescued along with some of his companions, Oreo is now discovering the joys of being safe and loved. Of the three brothers rescued, Oreo is the most shy, but with his foster mom he shows just how affectionate and sweet he truly is. Currently living with large dogs and a cat, he was initially nervous but has made big strides in settling in. Oreo would thrive in a home with another gentle dog to help boost his confidence. Because he prefers a calm environment, any children in the home should be older and understanding of his need for patience. Oreo will require a family willing to help him continue learning about life outside of a cage, including housetraining with positive reinforcement and a steady routine. While his housetraining is still in progress, this lovely little dog is eager to blossom! At about 1.5 years old and only 17 lbs, Oreo looks bigger in pictures than he isโ€”heโ€™s truly quite tiny! This gentle soul is searching for the loving patience and quiet he needs for his next, happiest chapter. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
