Distemper Medical Foster Needed Hi! We’re a sweet group of puppies looking for medical foster homes where we can safely recover and grow stronger. We are currently positive for distemper, but with proper care, rest, and love, our prognosis can be hopeful. Our recovery is expected to take about three months. We need to be out of the shelter ASAP, as a calm home environment greatly improves our chances of healing. The good news is that distemper is NOT contagious to adult, fully vaccinated dogs, making it possible for many households to help. Medical fosters provide a quiet space, basic daily care, and lots of comfort while the shelter supports you with guidance and medical needs.
