About Mermaid
Mermaid has the look of a survivor—her clipped ear and independent streak hint at tougher times, but she’s also grown to appreciate comfort. This girl has discovered the joy of sprawling in a plush cat bed, diving face-first into a bowl of dry food, and melting into a human’s lap for long, cozy naps. Lately, she’s decided she’s happiest curled up next to you at night, offering company and a sense of protection both ways. Mermaid’s got a sharp eye for adventure—favorite activities include stalking mysterious rug lumps, wrestling with heavy rubber bands, and orchestrating games with “carpet ghosts.” In her foster home she’s proven she can be a true lapcat: give her a sliver of sun and a soft window perch, and she’ll doze for hours. This cat may not win everyone over immediately; she’s looking for that one person who gets her spirit and will welcome her as their loyal co-pilot. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
