About Cowboy
Cowboy is a 10-year-old, 60-pound neutered bulldog/pitbull mix who’s learning that life inside is pretty great. Having spent most of his years outdoors, he’s adapted fast to home comfort—totally house-trained, barely barks, and sleeps soundly the whole night. He’s polite around the house, knows how to settle in quietly, and even heads into his crate on his own for a nap. Cowboy gets along well with his female foster dog sister, showering her with affection. He’s playful, loves fetch, and finds plenty of ways to keep himself entertained. Teenagers, friends dropping by, or new faces? He’s friendly and welcoming. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet. Leash skills need some polishing (he’s strong and pulls), but he’s already working with a trainer and responds to basic commands. Water brings out his playful side—he loves splashing around any chance he gets. Cowboy would fit right in with someone looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who’s content lounging or joining in on some low-key play. He’s ready to bring some love and laughter to the right home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
