About Cowboy
Meet Cowboy! Cowboy recently got a much-needed break from the shelter to attend a baseball game, and he handled it like a champ. This sensitive dog has had a hard go at the shelter, but each day he’s learning the world isn’t quite as scary as he thought. Leashes are less intimidating now. He’s slowly warming up to the idea that people can be kind. Cowboy needs someone patient who will let him settle in at his own speed. He’s quite fearful when meeting new people or tackling new situations, but he’s never been aggressive. He just needs someone to show him gentle encouragement and understanding. Behind that worried exterior is a gentle spirit waiting to emerge. Given enough time and care, Cowboy will grow into the kind of loyal, loving companion every dog hopes to be. Could you be the one who finally shows him what it’s like to feel safe and loved? Start your journey together! Apply now.
