About Iceberg

Iceberg is a large white female cat with pale blue-green eyes. She arrived at the shelter on November 29, 2024, weighing close to 10 lbs and appearing to be around 6 years old. Her story isn’t pretty: after her elderly owner with dementia passed away, a neighbor—also struggling—kept Iceberg and another cat in a tiny, unheated barn cage, providing only basic food and water. No litter box, no blanket, weeks in the cold. When finally discovered, both cats were dirty, frightened, and stressed. After some time at the shelter, Iceberg has started to come around and prefers a calm, slow-paced environment. She’s been spayed, vaccinated, and tested negative for FELV/FIV. She gets along well with other cats, but truly thrives somewhere quiet with people who understand her need for patience and gentle handling. Ready to give her some peace and comfort?
