About Charlie The One Eyed
Charlie The One Eyed is a tiny 3-year-old long hair Chihuahua mix who weighs about 8 lbs. He’s got a unique look—one eye and a gorgeous mix of gray, blue, and chocolate fur, with a medium-length coat. Charlie’s story is tough: he was rescued from a high-kill shelter just one day before his scheduled euthanasia after being hit by a car. That accident left him mostly blind and without control of his front left leg due to nerve damage, but the vets agree he doesn't need the leg removed. Charlie still gets around well and adapts to his environment with sharp senses. Beyond all the hardship, Charlie is loving and loyal, thriving on snuggles and sticking close to his person. He’s mostly housebroken and paper trained. Charlie fits best in a quiet home where his disabilities are understood, and someone wants a gentle, devoted companion. He gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, and is looking for a special adopter who will see all he has to give. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
