About Gwen
Gwen is a 9-month-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix who hasn't had the easiest start, but she’s steadily building trust and confidence with her people. She’s still shy in new situations, but daily she’s opening up more—especially when other playful dogs are around. Gwen’s favorite thing is romping with canine buddies, and she’s happiest sprinting across the yard with her friends. She’s house trained and crate trained, and walks on leash get easier for her every day as she finds comfort in quiet strolls. Gwen’s shiny short coat and soulful eyes get noticed wherever she goes. With up-to-date vaccinations and already spayed, she’s ready to travel from San Antonio to a great home, wherever that may be. Gwen is comfortable with kids over 10 who understand she’s still learning to feel secure. She’s met few cats so far, but with slow introductions, she should adjust at her age. Once Gwen settles, she becomes a big cuddler. She’s looking for someone patient who will give her the time she needs to blossom. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
