About Bailey

Bailey is a striking blue-eyed female husky, about a year and a half old, who came to rescue nervous and wary of both people and other dogs. She needed gentle, experienced handling at first, but she is opening up quickly, discovering the fun in canine friendships and realizing people aren’t so bad either. Bailey has a funny, goofy streak, and she loves nothing more than to race around, sniff out new adventures, and play with other dogs. She’s bright, crate-trained and house-trained, though she may need a refresher in a new space. Bailey is a high-energy dog and needs an adopter who matches her activity level—someone eager to challenge her mentally as much as physically. She still needs time to trust and would do best with a patient, experienced adopter willing to commit to multiple meets. Bailey’s ideal home is quiet, rural, and low-traffic, with adults only and at least one other friendly dog to help her settle. Fenced yard is a plus. She’s a work in progress but worth the effort. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
