About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a white, short-coated senior pittie living in Charlotte, NC. She grew up in a loving, stable home from puppyhood until a life change forced her people to give her up just before her tenth birthday. After her surrender, she was lucky to land with a steady, caring foster family who helped her adjust and regain her spirit. Now, her foster family is suddenly relocating out of the country, so Elizabeth is looking for another home where she can spend her golden years in peace. Elizabeth is spayed, fully up to date on veterinary care, and house trained. She gets along well with people of all ages and is great with kids over six. She is happy living with cats and can be friendly with other dogs if given patient introductions and time to decompress. As a white American Staffordshire Terrier, Elizabeth struggles with allergies—especially to chicken—so she thrives on a special diet that keeps her comfortable. The rescue is urgently searching for a foster or adopter who can keep Elizabeth safe and comfortable through yet another transition. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
