Meet Elizabeth 🤍 Elizabeth is the sweetest 10-year-old senior pittie in Charlotte, NC. Raised from a 8 week old puppy, she lived a wonderful, stable life until December 2024, when her world changed overnight. Due to personal family circumstances, Elizabeth was surrendered to Gilmore Dog Rescue. She was understandably heartbroken, but thankfully she landed in an incredible permanent foster home that gave her the time, structure, and love she needed to heal and thrive. Fast forward to today, December 2025. Elizabeth’s foster family is now relocating out of the country, and once again, through no fault of her own, she needs a new place to land. Elizabeth’s fosters have been absolutely amazing and have set her up for success. Now we are looking for a foster or adopter who can help her continue living out her golden years feeling safe, loved, and secure. Elizabeth is: • Spayed • Up to date on all medical care • Cat friendly • People friendly • Great with kids ages 6 and up • Dog friendly, but will need slow introductions and time to decompress Elizabeth is a beautiful white pittie, which means she does have allergies. She is highly allergic to chicken and must remain on a special diet to keep her healthy and comfortable. Her foster family is moving on January 8th, and we urgently need a foster or adopter to step up so Elizabeth does not have to face another major disruption. We are a foster-based rescue, and without fosters, we cannot continue saving dogs like Elizabeth.
