Meet ASPEN! This 3 year old husky is not just a loyal companion, but a major goofball who has never let go of his silly personality despite nearly 250 days in the shelter. Aspen has a big smile he is not shy to share, and charms everyone he meets! As all huskies, Aspen loves a brisk walk or game of fetch with our staff and volunteers. He's never heard the concept of 'stranger danger' and easily makes friends wherever he goes -- from adoption events to swimming in the creek to hiking with other dogs and their handlers. This guy absolutely loves the water and takes advantage of any opportunity to cool off in the warmer months. Aspen is looking for an active family that can help him learn and grow - he knows basic obedience and manners and is eager to learn more and settle into the daily routine of a loving home. We believe Aspen would do best with no cats, any children over 12 (he's 75 lbs!), and would require a meet n greet with any other dogs.
