Vesper came to us with her siblings and while they’ve all found their forever homes, Vesper has been patiently waiting. She’s what we lovingly call a “cat’s cat.” While she’s comfortable with the occasional human touch, Vesper truly thrives in the company of other cats. Currently, she lives in our community room alongside 15–20 cats and gets along beautifully with every personality, proof of her easygoing and social nature with feline friends. Vesper would be happiest in a home with a friendly resident cat where she can relax, coexist, and form a true BFF bond. Just shy of 2 years old, Vesper is calm, well-adjusted, and ready for a forever home that understands and appreciates her quiet, companionable spirit. PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states.  Transport meets in Brattleboro, VT. Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file.  For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters. Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel.
