About Rella Bonded With
Rella, true to her Cinderella namesake, has come a long way from tough beginnings. Once living in a crowded, chaotic home without much care, she arrived underweight with untreated skin issues and a limp that still occasionally bothers her. Now fostered in a much calmer space, she's finally getting the attention she deserves—and it's starting to show. Her soft white coat is healthy, her scabs are gone, and she’s tasting the good life of wet food, treats, and the occasional head scratch from her foster parent. She’s shy and naturally cautious, especially after all she’s been through, so she gravitates toward quiet hiding spots and will need patience as she continues to build trust. Rella isn’t a cuddler yet and doesn't want to be picked up, but she now seeks out gentle affection and has started to show interest in toys. She’s bonded with her best friend Gizmo and would do best adopted alongside him, ideally with their buddy Coco as well. Rella gets along with other cats and should have a safe space in her new home to hide until she’s ready to emerge. Her ideal adopter is patient and kind, willing to let her come around at her own pace, and ready for the quirks and sweetness of a sensitive cat. She’s six years old and six pounds, about as petite as they come. She’s now spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. Libras like Rella are known for their soft charm and need for harmony—a fitting sun sign for her journey so far. She’s in Fitchburg, MA waiting for a peaceful, loving home that can help her bloom.
