About Cannon
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Meet Cannon, a spirited brown and chocolate tabby with a personality as lively as his name. Born around August 19, 2024, Cannon’s journey began with tough medical challenges. Known for his powerful nasal sneezes, he battled chronic rhinitis and survived perforated eardrums, making him partially deaf—he responds best to vibrations in his environment. Thanks to devoted care and support, Cannon is now stable on a daily lysine supplement, and his ongoing medical needs will be covered at no charge by Feline Wellness Center’s Dr. Jen. Cannon’s life in his previous home was full of love and learning experiences. He was affectionate with everyone, including young children, though his playful energy sometimes led to unintentional scratches—always playful, never mean. He enjoyed the company of other cats and proved himself to be friendly with dogs during a brief visit with his adopter’s sister’s pet. After coming back to the rescue, Cannon’s confidence has flourished, and past fears have faded—a testament to his resilient spirit. Playful and endlessly curious, Cannon is perfect for an energetic home with kids or other active cats that can match his high-energy style. He loves racing around, chasing toys, and mingling with fellow felines. Although he dislikes being held down for nail trims or meds, his zest for life shines through in everything else he does. Cannon is looking for a loving, playful family that cherishes his interactive nature and will let his joyful personality shine. Fun fact: As a Leo, Cannon brings boldness, warmth, and lots of entertainment to those around him! Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
