About Pika
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Pika is a gentle 13-year-old tortie who previously lived harmoniously with other cats and is now in search of a quiet home where she can feel secure. She absolutely needs to live with another friendly cat, as feline companionship is important for her happiness. While the busy Adoption Center has never been her comfort zone, Pika is sure to blossom in a peaceful setting with a patient adopter who is willing to help her build trust at her own pace. Catnip is one of her greatest joys, and using some during your early bonding sessions is a sure way to win her heart! Pika's ideal match is someone who will be understanding of her shy nature, offering her time, space, and love as she settles into her forever home. Remember, many cats show more of their sweet personalities once out of the shelter—it’s simply a matter of letting them relax and thrive. Pika was born on July 27, which makes her a fun-loving Leo at heart; Leos are known for their loyalty and warm personalities! She is currently waiting at Connecticut Cat Connection, where fosters are welcome to apply too. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
